Joint master student at MIAAI

MIAAI research group at DPU supports supervision of Hannah Jungreuthmayer for her master thesis. Hanna is enrolled in master program in Faculty of Physics at University if Vienna and performs her master thesis entitled ‘Investigation of different heuristic optimization algorithms for CBCT source-detector trajectory optimization’ jointly with MIAAI group under supervision of Ass.-Prof. Dr. Sepideh Hatamikia and Medical University, Department of Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering under supervision of Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Birkfellner.

She receives a scholarship from ACMIT as part as the FTI grant application (FTI Basic Research project „OpTII – Optimised Trajectories for Interventional Imaging“ (project number: GLF21-1-001)) for duration of one year to complete her thesis.

The multi-environment supported by different academics and research organizations as well additional available finance support for conference attendance will provide an excellent platform for Hannah to make progress in her thesis topic.
